The Nettle Lake Mound Group has been dated to 2000 years ago and identified as Hopewell Mounds. This corresponds with the Book of Mormon time period and possible are Nephite mounds. They have been excavated and identified as burial mounds and other artifacts taken from the mounds. It is incredible to think that these things date to around the time Christ visited the Book of Mormon people. The mounds are not very tall, but there are like five of them.
